Era Golf & Country Resort an impressive course nestled in a valley and surrounded by heavily forested hills.
The par 72, 5982-metre course is built on a undulating site that used to be and secondary jungle. Clusters of hardwood trees have been retained off the fairways (and occasionally on the fairways), creating a jungle-like setting for the course. The fairways are turfed with Greenless Park Couch bermuda grass while the green are carpeted with the ultra-dwarf hybird, Bermuda Supreme.
One hole that will remain etched in your memory is the par three, 2nd hole which measures a hefty 194 metres, From multi-level tees carved into a hill, the tee shot has to be well struck to reach the long and narrow green, trapped by three bunkers on the right and one on the left.
